Puelo River

Place of great trout and salmon.

This river originates in Argentina and its waters run through the Puelo Valley, later forming the Tagua Tagua and Puelo Bajo Lakes until they reach the sea at the Reloncaví Sound.

​ Fishing consists of floating the rivers in the area, characterized by their limestone formations and where it is also possible to land in various sectors that are ideal for making good casts and looking for a fishing trophy. The most common species are Rainbow and Fario trout, as well as Atlantic, Silver and King salmon.

Together with the guides, you can design a tailored program, since this area offers several fishing alternatives, which makes it one of the favorites of many fishermen.

To get there, the closest airport is Puerto Montt, a two-hour drive away.
